Azari Holdings / About Azari Holdings

The parent institution behind a group of specialist Azari businesses.

Azari Holdings owns and governs the Azari group, setting group-wide priorities for capital, risk, conduct and long-term development while each specialist company remains accountable for its own customers and operations.

How the structure works

Holdings owns

Group direction, governance, capital priorities and the standards attached to the Azari name.

Specialists operate

Each company owns its customers, technical decisions, people, systems and daily execution.

Capital is compared

Major uses of capital are assessed against risk, timing, alternatives and the group’s capacity to execute well.

01

What this means inside Azari

Azari Holdings provides ownership, group governance, capital priorities and institutional direction to a multi-sector Azari ecosystem.

Holdings does not run Select transactions, charter aircraft, manage yachts, deliver property projects or operate energy systems from the centre. Those responsibilities belong to the specialist companies.

02

The operating reality

The operating model is straightforward: group governance and ownership sit at Holdings; sector decisions and customer responsibility sit at the operating companies; and cross-group matters such as capital, major risk and related parties require clear escalation.

03

What we expect in practice

  • Group governance and ownership sit at Holdings
  • Sector decisions and customer responsibility sit at the operating companies
  • Cross-group matters such as capital, major risk and related parties require clear escalation
04

Risk and responsibility

The central risk is over-centralisation: if every subsidiary waits for the parent company to decide ordinary operating matters, the group loses the specialist accountability the structure was created to protect.

05

How the group should behave

Where more than one Azari company is involved, responsibility should stay explicit. The operating company owns delivery, Holdings owns group-level governance, and material capital, related-party or reputation questions are escalated to the appropriate level.

06

What a strong outcome looks like

A good holding company should make the businesses stronger and the group clearer without becoming an additional operating layer.
