Public document

This page states Azari Holdings’ public policy position. Applicable law, contracts, regulatory requirements and more specific subsidiary procedures may impose additional or stricter requirements.

Current public position

Climate change can affect physical assets, supply chains, energy systems, insurance, regulation, communities and long-term demand. Relevant businesses should consider those effects where they can materially influence a decision.

Azari Holdings has not used this website to publish a group-wide net-zero date or emissions-reduction target that has not been formally established and supported by a measurement plan.

Physical climate risk

Property, infrastructure, energy and travel-related activities may be exposed to heat, flooding, storms, water stress or other physical conditions depending on location and asset life.

Material projects should use appropriate technical and local information rather than rely on generalised climate statements.

Transition context

Changes in regulation, technology, fuel, energy pricing, customer preference and financing can affect the economics of some activities over time.

The importance of these factors should be assessed against the actual business model and investment horizon.

Operational efficiency

Businesses should consider credible opportunities to reduce avoidable energy and fuel use, improve equipment efficiency, optimise routing, maintain assets properly and procure more efficiently where these actions make operational sense.

Efficiency claims should identify what changed rather than rely on broad labels such as green or sustainable.

Targets and measurement

A formal climate target should define scope, baseline, time horizon, measurement approach and accountability before being published. Offsets or certificates, if ever used, should not obscure actual operational emissions.

Aspirations can be stated as aspirations, but they should not be written as achieved performance or binding commitments.

Review

The group’s climate position should be reviewed as its asset base, regulation, data quality and operating footprint become clearer.

Subsidiaries may adopt more specific commitments where justified by their sector, contracts or regulatory environment.
