Public document

This page states Azari Holdings’ public policy position. Applicable law, contracts, regulatory requirements and more specific subsidiary procedures may impose additional or stricter requirements.

Responsible decisions

Material business decisions should consider more than immediate revenue or cost. Relevant legal, customer, people, safety, environmental, community and reputational consequences should be identified where they can reasonably affect the outcome.

The analysis should remain proportionate; responsible business is not a requirement to turn every routine decision into a committee process.

People and customers

People should be treated lawfully and with dignity. Products and services should be described accurately, customer information should be protected and complaints or failures should be handled without deliberate concealment.

Operating companies may impose additional conduct, safety or professional standards appropriate to their sector.

Third parties

Supplier and partner selection should consider capability and integrity as well as price. Higher-risk relationships require more diligence and clearer contractual expectations.

Azari should not use third parties to avoid responsibilities that would apply if the activity were performed directly.

Environment and resources

Businesses should identify material environmental impacts and comply with applicable requirements. Practical opportunities to reduce avoidable waste, resource use or environmental harm should be considered where they are relevant and feasible.

The group does not treat unmeasured environmental claims as evidence of performance.

Communities

Where operations materially affect a community, communication and mitigation should be considered as part of the operating plan. Community investment is separate from the obligation to avoid or address foreseeable harm caused by the business itself.

Programmes should respect local context and the dignity of participants.

Accountability and disclosure

Responsibilities should sit with people who can act, and material concerns should be escalated to the appropriate leadership or governance body. Public claims should distinguish verified performance from targets, intentions and illustrative examples.

The policy should be reviewed as the group’s activities and risk profile develop.
